The Georgia Southwestern State University Premed Chapter of the AMSA was founded in April, 2001. The GSWU Chapter of Premedical AMSA (American Medical Student Association) is a student-run pre-professional organization that exists to support and enhance the premedical experiences of self-motivated, experience-seeking students.
Our chapter strives to provide our members with useful, timely information and opportunities to plan and lead volunteer activities, to form relationships with professors, other premedical students, to learn about the dynamic health-care environment, and to have meaningful and rewarding experiences during their premedical years at Georgia Southwestern State University.
If you are a Premed, Predental, Prepharmacy, Nursing, PreVet, Allied Health major or are just think you may consider a career in Healthcare, we have something for you.
